  Since Damuel Etoo is 5' 11", Inkoom has to be around 5' 5". How can we be fielding such shorties as defenders in the Black Stars? How can he defend against aerial set plays, corner kicks, etc. No wonder he got mauled by that Tunisian at the AFC, only for the Ayew brothers to rescue us in extra- time!

The average players are 5'10" at least. If u are going to short u have to be on the same level as Messi, maradona, abedi Pele, okocha, or Marcelo. A player like samuel inkoom is deficient in every way. He's extremely limited. He can't defend, he can't pass, he can't dribble, he can't cross and lacks football intelligent. What does he bring to the table beside running up and down like a headless chicken? HaS it occured to u that he was paying money to black star team officials to be picked. A below average player at 5'7" and below has no business on a national team.

  Height is a contributory factor even if you have the capabilities. It creates a shortfall in aerial defence for set pieces. This is a factual truism. Accept simple facts. That notwithstanding, a whole assessment of the player vis-à-vis the team should be made in particular instances. You cannot reject a player based on height alone. It is an interplay of several factors.
