  If you are declared substandard in South Africa, then you should get it in your head that you are finished as an international professional soccer player. You could still contribute in the sport in other ways.

  Stop trying to compete with, and taking the place of, younger and upcoming players.
  
  Nobody can cheat nature and everybody retires from a career one way or other, even from less physical demanding career.
  
  You are young enough to start another career, but massa you are too old for this soccer thing. So, just quit.
