He brought much Joy to me. "Over to you Joe"
The man was a legend. You never wanted to leave the radio, even to go pee, when he is on commentary. My favourite part was "Inside the center circle, across the center circle, around the center circle".
Mr. Joe Lartey and his dear wife Mom Emily inspired me as early as 1964 through 1969 at the Achimota Anglican Primary School. Blessings to you Uncle Joe and Mom Emily.
Those were the good old day
The good old days with the Osei Kofis, the Mfums and Naawus

Over to you, Joe Lartey.
Kwabena Agyepong, Kwaku Fosu Asare, and other professionals were football comentators as well. I wouldn't let my child follow your example. You aren't my kind of role model.
Ofui, "And what did that brought you?" What kind of English is that? You don't know good English but you are trashing the best English commentator in Ghana's history. All those junkies you are talking about, they weren't as g ...

Those were the words from Harry Thompson, "Over to you Joe Lartey" Some of us can still mimic the words in their commentary after 40 years. Not like all these junkie commentators we have today who don't even know the names of ...
