In the sixties Ghana was doing everything herself: build bridges, roads, schools, etc. We even started building cars at the university of science and technology. We were on the path to industrialization just like some Asian countries who were poorer than us but have left us behind because we started thinking like you when the military took power unlawfully.

Akwasi Appiah is the one who should be blamed for destroying the team for his lack of control and his biases in calling anemic players. GFA's failure to deal with the finances ruined any chances the Black Stars had no matter who the coach was.

The team is not yet where it is supposed to be, -- given the vast number talents the country is endowed with.

I've had the chance of watching the Ghana Black Stars in action since age 5 years: I can honestly say that, the present team is not yet playing with the kind of fluidity Ghanaians are accustomed to.

The closest we've ever come to that performance were in our 6 - 1 defeat to Egypt, and our 2 - 2 WC draw with Germany, -- under coach Kwesi Appiah.

Without diminishing the accomplishments of coach Grant: these days, the Black Stars win games, but without ease. The goals seem to be lucky-goals. They follow no designed pattern of play.

To us who are familiar with the style of the Ghana Black Stars: it is obvious that, there's a missing link. We need to keep tinkering with this team until we find that missing link. It is for this very reason that, I keep urging coach Grant to bring back Muntari. He is our best play-maker.

It would be very wrong for coach Grant to see his job description as that of rebuilding the Ghana Black Stars; as against building on the team he inherited.

The team we took to Brazil was a very good one. The problem was the ignorance of the management. Coach Kwesi Appiah lacked the necessary sophistication to control, motivate, and manage the squad. He was lost among his peers. And that was discouraging to the players.

It is this void of proper leadership on the part coach Appiah that deemed the hiring of coach Grant necessary.
I'll therefore humbly request the GFA, the Sports Minister, and coach Grant to keep his job-description in proper perspective, -- i.e., building on the team we took to Brazil, and providing scientific management to the Ghana Black Stars.

May Lord Almighty continue to bless our beloved Great Ghana: Amen!!!

For their own professional careers they had to qualify for and do well at AFCON 2015. In reality, the Gyan goal against Algeria saved Grant. Grant has been a steady fill in but I cannot really say there have been any bold moves other than Kwesi Appiah becoming a starting forward at the AFCON 2015 but we all know that was a one tournament wonder such as Agogo back in 2008. We should not be attacking Grant but we also should not make him a hero.
