  Winning bonus, Qualifying bonus and Appearance Bonus are 3 separate entities. You can't combine all as a motivation remuneration!

I can understand getting appearance fees IF money is being made/generated because of participation. It is the same reason why FIFA pays money to teams (countries) that QUALIFY/PARTICIPATE in WC. By your logic, FIFA should be paying each country for each qualification match; win or lose. After all, it is in FIFA's best interest to "motivate" the teams to win and promote football.

We are talking about national teams. IF the goal is to qualify for AFCON, then pay them bonus AFTER they qualify for AFCON.

  This is an over-ambitious policy.Remember football is the passion of the nation and any policy deemed negative can have a serious consequence.Players can show up but can decide to do the contrary.They play in their clubs and will earn money for that.Citizens feel an incentive for paying tax is also for our national teams to win games.Don't disturb the status quo in the name of reformation which will lead to destabilization.We are not interested in that.Your aggression for reformation seem overly ambitious.
