With all the talents we have around the globe I know that there are at least two or three foreign based or foreign born players who could make a difference with this team. This is a case of relying on the same old same old.

Yeah. The coach always handcrafts a Kwaku Ananse story to tell the die-hard soccer fans even if the story undermines commonsense. Even if the game was played in the sand dunes of the Ethiopian desert, both teams should have been subjected to the same ordeal. In particular, a coach should do his or her homework many weeks prior to the game. The coach should have different game plans for all battlefield scenarios such as adverse weather; opponents' style of play; poor officiating; player injury; problems of a yellow or red card; and specter of a biased referee.

Soccer fans in the Republic hope that Dramani will turn things around in the next game. He could include some Ghanaian U20 players who are currently playing outside the country. Dramani could also call Sellas Tetteh for some technical advice if possible.

The U20 will rise again. This is a very disappointing start but the defeat is not entirely due to the fabricated weather-storm story. Dramani must go back to the video of the game and identify what went wrong. Then he should haul the boys to the training grounds and correct all their mistakes.

It's not today that we are playing Ethiopia at their home, we should have known that the Altitude is a real problem and therefore we should have made plans to acclimatize and not go there about 2 days before the match. There are two problems: that's Jet lag (3 hrs time difference) and the altitude of 8,000 meters above sea level. Compare this to Ghana's highest habitable level of 600 meters. Having experience this environment, I think the boys did well and next time we must be more professional in our approach.
