Black Stars captain Asamoah Gyan gave players of Liberty Professionals a cash prize of $ 3000 after their 2-0 win over New Edubiase in an outstanding game at the Karl Reindorff Park in Dansoman on Monday.
Gyan who is in the country for holidays took time off to watch his former Club play.
The Ghanaian international after the first 45 minutes went to the dressing room of Liberty Professionals to urge the team on, which eventually saw them bag in two second half goals to secure the 3 maximum points.
His time with the players seemed to have motivated them to push on in the second half of the game for the unexpected cash reward.
