Mr Grant surely we need more competition in the striking department. For me one player I think is really worth taking a look at is John Antwi. He is a natural goal scorer with very good attributes of a top striker: pacy and a very good finisher with both feet and his head. We must also take a look at Ofosu Aryeh if he decides to play for Ghana. Not forgetting of course some very good potentials in the local league. Yes I agree the current group of players in the squad looks good. But we are not only going for glory in the Afcon, we also have to negotiate some tough opposition in the World Cup Qualifiers, just to give you a reminder.

Our striking dept. lacks the potency of the Sadio Manes, lghalos, Iwobis, Mahrezs etc. Jordan is a total waste as his striking instincts are zero or negative. Dede is not a natural striker - he cannot shoot. He would have scored at least four goals if he were a natural striker . Gyan is getting old & we need a young, serious & determined striker as his replacement, especially for the World Cup qualification . Gyan will be totally toast by 2018. Who bells the cat then? Jordan????? Absolutely Not. How serious is he if the pampered kid is still pulling down his pants during games. How serious is he? Just watch how he runs into empty striking positions. Good things about him are he is a better shooter & his penalty kicks are good : but LAZY

To win the Africa cup, you need good strikers. Asamoah Gyan is the only one to meet that criteria. Without inviting very good strikers, you can forget the Cup.

Watching the Seychelles' game I was for once satisfied with the output and seriousness of the Stars. They started the match in a whirlwind fashion and I monitored the Super Sports commentary who praised the Stars for their physical conditioning.
We have the talent in abundance, all that is needed is toughness so that the boys are not bullied around on the field like in the past. And no master game of-course. This goes to Jordan Ayew, who has that tendency unlike his senior brother who fights for all balls till the end.
