It is rather for poor sanitation and drainage that Ghana deserves to be sanctioned on. Nii Lantey should get his priorities right.

Instead of spending any Funds on Sports infrastructure now, most funds must be directed into solving the terrible sanitation, wastewater and drainage problems that contribute to floods all over.

The floods used to be the concern of only Accra. Now, Cape Coast and other areas, including parts of Kumasi, have become dangerously vulnerable to floods because of poor drainage systems.

It is time we began investing hugely in underground culverts to keep rainwater off the ground surface. Most countries where significant developments and standard of living could be discerned have underground culvert or drains and Wastewater treatment Plants to manage drainage.

In this day and age, our Contractors still engage in open drains construction in Cities and towns. Not only do these gutters get easily clogged with trash and silt, they, also, pose immediate fatal danger to traffic and pedestrians.

When will we learn to do the right thing the first time, and stop the big- and loud-mouthing denigration of one another? Corruption is the main reason why funds are not funneled into permanently efficient infrastructure.

The cheap shoddy works the Contractors engage in is what allows room for pilfering and misuse of funds. The looting Contractors and their collaborating Officials hide their corruption within such facade of Construction to create the semblance of fulfilling a mandate.

Citizens must be on the neck of Contractors undertaking infrastructural projects to ensure the work is qualitatively acceptable and the funds are used wisely. We must demand value-for-money auditing on all our Projects. Localities must have a say in who wins a bid for what Public job. Transparency in the Procurement and Bidding process ought to be enforced and demanded by the People.

If we can embark upon demonstrations against voting procedures, we should be equally ready to demonstrate against misuse of our tax money in shoddy Public works.

I like the energies of nii lantey and hope npp even retains him in their government. If u don't sanction Ghana, they won't have tje free will to change they behave like farmed animals I'm sorry but it's true. Leave them alone and the whole world including even bangladesh will develop and outpace gh.

Now your government is in power for 8 years what infrastructure have you guys put up? Frist, ndc government can't provide jobs for the youth, secondly, you can't facilities for them to improve on their God given talents. Only person who lack critical thinking will vote for this useless ndc propaganda government. 27 years of waste.
