It is mind-boggling to note that NDC and their apparatchiks would always make things too hot to handle esp. when it comes to matters of national interest. Ghana, under the 19yrs of NDC rule couldn't qualify for World Cup, until Kuffour's NPP gov't came to power. In 2006 with sound management and good incentives for our Black Stars players, Ghana appeared at the WC-2006 in Germany, causing major surprises to the world.

The foundation that was laid by Kuffour saw Ghana appearing in subsequent tournaments. But the trend seem to be changing; NDC is bent on rubbishing the achievements of our gallant men, with discouraging remarks and threats. What kind of crazy things that Ghanaians are witnessing? These days, it looks like one becomes a national enemy instead of hero when invited into the Black Stars camp.

With their so-called Sports Minister, Nii Lantey (Vampire) Vanderpuije talking from his stomach! He's asking why the Black Stars should be paid bonuses and why air tickets should be provided for the players. The fact is that the NDC, under John Mahama has mismanaged Ghana's economy and can't find money to pay for essential services and social intervention programs that was initiated by Kuffour's gov't. And any player or sports personality who dares speak his mind is tagged an enemy; anyone who associates himself with any member of opposition risks harassment or public disgrace. Capt. Asamoah-Gyan is an example. He's now vilified by many just because he's noted to be a fan or friend of Nana Akufo-Addo.

What kind of country do we belong; are we suddenly becoming enemies of the very country we belong because under NDC? Everyone is afraid of their lives because of threats and contract killings etc.

The NDC is behind the EC resisting public cry for a new voters' register that will guarantee free and fair elections; they [NDC] are importing foreigners (Togolese, Burkinabe and Ivorian citizens) to come and register with Ghana's NHIS cards to vote in Ghana. What's going on; what drama is this?

The EC says majority of Ghanaians registered with the NHIS card so it will be unconstitutional to delete names of those card-bearers from the register. When ordered by the Supreme Court to provide the list of those (MAJORITY) names to the court, they NDC/EC brought only 56,000 registrants. What kind of silly tricks are they trying to play with the SC? Everything with the NDC is crime, corruption, election fraud, contract killing, threats and molestation etc. Why do we have to go through such pain and chaos? In fact, NDC is "Sasabonsam" party and must be rejected by Ghanaians, before they totally destroy everything!

It's not strange though. They came to power through the barrel of the gun, accusing Ghanaians of corruption and graft (AFRC/P-NDC) and executed Army Officers, Noble High Court Judges and business people. Now it's clear that they [NDC] have committed higher crimes than those they accused people about. In those horrible days they were chanting "Freedom & Justice, Probity & Accountability" through their cadres: PDCs and WDCs etc.

This is not right! Ghanaians should rise up and demand what is noble and what is right. These crazy NDC attitude should not be tolerated in Ghana. NDC don't have any ideas to make Ghana work; they're rather destroying all the 8 years achievement of the previous gov't.

There is a problem with ALL the federations and the system in Ghana which has gone on too long. The job of ANY minister of sports is to tackle this long running problem. Most ministers don't have the balls to take it on because it's football and people are passionate about football. but someone has to do it. So we should support this Minister who is trying and give him the tools and conditions to do it. The fall out maybe that the players get caught up in it because it's like a divorce. the kids are in the middle if you like. BUT IT HAS TO BE DONE. you can't just keep going with a corrupt system. it's like a cancer and it will spread. tough situation for all of us, the fans the players and the Minister. The only people that can stop it is if the GFA did the decent thing and sat down and ADMITTED there were problems and sorted it out. But they want to show they have more power etc. It's typical one upmanship of who is more powerful etc like a bad divorce. No one wins. so no it's not the Minister's fault if the players get caught up in all this and don't do well. It's the fault of the GFA because they know the Minister is talking the truth and there is a problem but they just don't want to change.
