  Is the case of bad journalism or people just have no clue of the meaning of donations. Did Vanderpuije actually make a make personal donation to beach soccer out his own pocket? I honestly believe that media as it often does when it comes to funds credits the individual and not the organization he represents. It is the Accra Metropolitan Assembly that is funding beach soccer and not the mayor, Vanderpuije.
