The semi final was against Nigeria not Ivory Coast. Abedi played very well in that game and stored 1 of the 2 goals Ghana had. The final against Ivory Coast he didn't play due to suspension

There are three skillful players of my generation. That is Abedi Pele, Okocha and Kulasha. Oppong Weah, Roger Milla and Co were equally good but not supremely talented as the above trio. If there is one talented footballer I will classify as naturally gifted it has to be Makanaki who futured for Cameroun in the 1990 world cup except for his finishing. The above trio are masters in artistry of the beautiful game and are colossus of the African game. My only problem is that Abedi Pele neglected his native northern Ghana including RTU currently managed by my good friend coach Hamza. We have more Abedi Peles in the north but for lack of exposure.

Dede got lots of nerve to say okocha was his generation. When did Dede play for Bstar? Okocha was not and all round good player bjt he was really good as a dribbled and passer. The awards always go to those who also score.goals and beautiful ones at that and can help their.clubs win trophies. That's what sets the abedis, toure,.eto, Drogba, weahs,.Milla apart from okocha, Dede, essien, etc...
