The prophets of old called people to righteousness, repentance and challenged leaders for justice, compassion, love for all especially to widows and poor and never collected money from people especially by "hook or crook. It is amazing how some Ghanaian prophets are following idol worship practises of divination and soothsaying under the guise of Christianity. It is indeed a practice strange to Jesus Christ, the Apostles and the Early Church to mention someone as responsible for the sickness of another person -this is normal practice in idol worshipping.
As thought by Jesus and was practised by the Early Church, demons and not human beings, are responsible for human afflictions. Thus, the Lord Jesus, would cast out demons and heal all who came to Him and he gave authority to His followers to do the same. There was never a time when Jesus failed to heal a sick person who came to Him, told the sick person another person was the cause of his/her sickness and gave him/her prescriptions of what to do to get well.
If Prophet Kobi were really a true Jesus-called prophet, what he would have done is to cast out the demon he claims is afflicting Kwadwo Asamoah's knee to set him free. Instead, he has made poor Asamoah to believe that, his fellow team-mates are responsible for his knee problem and give him some prescriptions to follow. What a useless prophet!
In effect, if Kwadwo Asamoah believes the words of this prophet, he will try to shun the company of his teammates and this will place a big barrier to the prevalence of love between Asamoah and his coaleagues. If the players of the Black Stars cannot maintain the spirit of friendship and cooperation in camp, this will not augur well for them.
This is an example of a prophet who will complicate one's problem rather than solve it.
