Yes, Baba Rahman hasn't lost any money in his transfer doesn't neccessarily mean the move to Shalke 04 is a smart one, it still remains a setback in his career not being able to impress at Stamford Bridge. No players ever get farmed out in just one season of being signed on in any top clubs like Chelsea and gets tge second chance of playing for the club again. He remains on book of the club pending his final release eventually, in that event also, eventhough he has tasted club football at the very top, albeit unsuccessful; he may never get a club of Chelsea calibre in rank chasing to sign him again. When Michael Essien started losing his influence and position at Chelsea, he did not lose money immediately while being tossed around on loan until he was finally declared free to leave. Chelsea has more than 30 players on their books outside those in the academy who have never played at Standford Bridge and continue to remain until they find suitors in the lower clubs.Baba Rahman's move nevertheless remains a temporary setback especially if he's unable to live up to his portential at Shalke 04. When Baba Rahman decided to sign for Chelsea in a surprise move, every intelligent follower of the EPL knew what engaged the minds of Baba Rahman and Kurt Okraku was the euphoria of Baba Rahman's signing for a "celebrity club" and not one of a decision that could have enhanced his career because he was young in the African contex and inexperienced, he was one just learning the ropes especially for a career in the tough EPL. Soon as Baba Rahman was bunddled out on loan, another teenage African portential Ola Aina groomed from the Academy was drafted to replace Baba Rahman at the left back and that means Baba Rahman may have played his last games for Chelsea until he is finally sold out.

He is not ready for the Premier League. He cannot even fall down to tackle. Anytime he is outrun by an attacker, he has no clue what to do. Great with overlapping though. If he learns he will be a great defender.
