  Amartey needs time to slidify in the midfield role in the premiership. When the confidence get to the brim, he will be equal to or better than Kante. He needs to avoid to many aerial passes and he will be a gem.

  Ain't surprise with Amartey cos Ghanaians are known to have excellent midfielders. He may even be better than Kante. We just hoping to land 3 excellent strikers. Dats all

He tackles, collects the ball and dishes like a point guard. He is not interested in spectacular displays or scoring goals. Therefore, if amartey wants to exceed Kante then he must train to wurk, wurk, wurk, wurk(in Rihannas voice), tackle and distribute. We don't want no fancy

  I really agree with you. You are very observant. Kante is exceptional. The guy is everywhere on the soccer field. He's like a trash collector. He cleans after every one. He was the difference maker of lecester's success last year. I really don't think he can be replaced , his absence is very crucial .And I don't think he fits into Chelsea's style of play. I may be wrong. He's like the State Farm logo, " like a good neighbor , State Farm is there". Renieri knew how to use him. This is the guy( Kante) you just put a jersey on him and put him on the field , and say to him " just go after the ball". In the just ended European championship, France' downfall was due to his absence in their line up.
  There is nothing fancy about him, but he gets the job done.
