No country would pay that kind of money for a football game! Stop it. this is really bad. They need an audit. and accountability. Minister keep on standing up to them.

AT THE END OF THE DAY, THEY SUBMIT THESE BOGUS REQUESTS TO THE GOV'T AND SPONSORS FOR REIMBURSEMENT. MOST OF THESE FUNDS ARE THEN SPLIT BETWEEN THEM AND THE PLAYERS UNDER "BONUSES". NO ACCOUNTING. LITTLE WONDER THEY ARE EAGER TO MAINTAIN THE STATUS QUO. WELL, THE GOV'T DOESN'T HAVE A BOTTOMLESS PIT FULL OF FUNDS FOR THE BLACK STARS. THEY NEED TO GET THIS INTO THEIR SHITO OR RAWA-RAWA HEADS. YOU DON'T FLY $3M TO BRAZIL FOR BONUS AND COEFFICIENT PAYMENTS.
  ENOUGH IS ENOUGH. YOU THINK IT IS WORTH IT, USE YOUR OWN MONEY BUT DON'T COME TO US FOR REIMBURSEMENT.
  AFTER ALL, YOU HAVE COLLECTED ENOUGH BOGUS "BONUS" OVER THE YEARS, TO MAKE A CHARITABLE CONTRIBUTION TO THE DEVELOPMENT OF SPORTS WITHOUT HURTING IN YOUR POCKETS.

  For Real!!! Somehow I think the Sports Ministry needs to get this information across. And for sure the Minister should get the President's backing. It's not like these people collecting these millions are even paying taxes in Ghana! So the Ghanaian people are supposed to be grateful for having a national team that robs them, holds the government to ransome by refusing to play unless they get millions and villifies anyone that stands up to them and threatens them? NO! If you explained it to the normal ghanaians they would say hell no! let the Minister clean up the Federation and don't stop there. Keep going and clean up the other federations too! they're all at it just not to such a massive degree to the tune of millions like the GFA.

Look at how many useless people you took to brazil as officials and there was no result because of your selfishness. There was no single soul sent to check the hotel for the players prior to their arrival in Natal, hence they met flooded rooms and they had sleepless night which caused our loss to USA. You spent money on these useless people for airline tickets?

  Well maybe so but at the end of the day Minister Ayariga was left with a gun to his head and had to fly $3m down to Brazil. I doubt the GFA would have tried the same gangster tactics with Nii Lantey? Just saying...

  Football Associations in serious jurisdictions finance the National teams from sponsorships and other activities. They do not depend on their governments to fund the teams. In some cases, the government could come in and offer support. As a result of this arrangement, the Associations are independent enough and the state understands and respects their independence. However, in our situation where government pays for almost everything, and even any money spent by the FA is debited to government, how and why should we allow any independence to the extent that they don't want to be audited? Thieves!!! Nobody owes you anything.
