This article if it is true will go to confirm my fear that Atsu is gradually slipping into oblivion on the soccer map. The reason is that if Atsu is pulling his socks there would not be any need for Newcastle to go looking for a left winger. Atsu must sit up because some of us are so worried about his future as we see him sinking day by day. The truth is after so many years in Europe Atsu has never been able to pin down a first team jersey in the premier league and still cannot do so with even a first division team. Atsu must now sit up and make a decision as to what he wants to do with his career because he is already old ( forget about the 24 year age tag on him). We dont want him to end up being like Odartey Lamptey and Daniel Addo who promised so much but ended up delivering so little or nothing at all. Atsu wake up because the potential is there. However if you dont put in the required shift it will remain a potential that never got exploited. Get up and work your socks off Atsu.
