  This Ph.D syndrome will kill us all. The original article made it seem $750,000 had been spent leading to ridiculous math break downs. Meanwhile the truth is only $200,000 was spent and it basically came from private sources ...

  Fair enough if that is the truth though accounts have not been shown so anyone can say anything they like. But the reality is that there are charges made by the Olympic committee to each nation for housing and facilities and participation fees etc and those have not been calculated in this figure that is now being presented. In other words even if it were $200k for hard costs, there is still the money that the government pays directly through the GOC that need to be added. AND the issue is that they sent 16 people with 16 officials and everyone got eliminated first round and came last and their selection procedures were dodgy and not transparent.

  U ppl fool ooo....how much was each player Paid n how much did afriyie ankrah spend....u ppl think we are kids...each player got $100,000. N the money afriyie ankrah spent was huge...Ghana spent over 2 million dollars
