It is clear he sees the GFA as political opponents and as such sees his role with the football association as an adversarial one. This is very unfortunate and dangerous and needs to stop now.

He is a very stupid minister,to him bcos his party is in power every institution including all associations shd be under their control.They have similar problems with Ghana Bar Assoc & Ghana Medical Assoc.

The pResidents of the Federations even boast that they put in huge budgets. It's an absolute mess and the only way of putting it right is by being very forthright with them. Give them clear boundaries and demand transparency and a proper development programme. stop playing their game.

the minister is not stupid at all. The problem with lack of development is not the Minister who is trying to take on the Federation presidents who play god. he is actually doing the right thing. The problem is with a group of people running things in between the layer of government and the people. these are like the middle managers, the toll keepers. they suck the government dry and don't do anything for the people. How many millions have successive governments made available for sports development and the youth, and how much of it has been siphoned off by this layer of middle management.The government can and should be more firm with the incompetent federation managements or stop giving them money or demand a proper programme, their accounts etc. More transparency and more professional management or they can go home!
