If the President of the Football Federation is all that, then he should have a system to raise finance for football. He does not. All he does is demand money for this money for that. Every country that has national teams U17, boys and girls, then Juniors boys and girsl,, then National, then all the local leagues etc. Now imagine that hundreds of people going all around the world to compete and all of them paid for by the government. No wonder there's nothing left for any other sport. Each time a team travels and they travel a lot, there are about 20/30 people who go. Imagine that 20 people airfare, per diems, hotels etc. And the Presiden tof the Federation just keeps demanding money. IF the government doesn't cough up, they use the teams to hold the nation to ransom with press reports of 'look how useless our government is, they've left our footballers stranded' or as in the case of Brazil fiasco 'we won't play until you pay us millions in bonuses' it means effectively that the government is hostage to the president of football. That is not right. The Ministry should just say, this is your budget, this is all you're getting and that's it. The rest is upto you to raise. Otherwise there will forever be this fear hanging over the government that they have to look after the footballers or they will be shamed by the administrative people of football. This is why the Minister of Youth & Sports was trying to sort out the GFA. But he did not go far enough quickly enough so now the President of the Federation has a job on FIFA so effectively he has even more power. Still not too late. The government should write to fifa and say, well done for all your process etc but as a sovereign nation we have a problem with this guy because of evidence of x, y and z. Because of recent scandals in Football, and Sth Platter etc, they would have to take it very seriously because they don't want another scandal tohit them especially in Africa where they're under the microscope for allegations of bribery etc.

It is all about money to Ghanaians whenever it comes to football or sports. It is strange that the Black Maidens' handlers are asking for money to buy soap or sanitary pads. Assuming they are being housed in a hotel, there's no hotel in this world that does not provide its guests with soap, shampoo, mouth wash, etc. The girls should be able to take care of their own personal hygiene issues and not rely on GFA to provide them with sanitary pads.
