Even the American girls thought they were playing Brazil as they could not stand Ghana's tiki taka. I plead with you to tidy the defence a little bit and the strikers must be clinical against Paraguay then you will be laughing all the way to the bank.

  I thought this match was about damage control and when they scored early, I began to worry about the # of goals the maidens will take. Unbelievable turnaround in the 2nd half! I couldn't believe they were playing the USA 'half-park'!! I wasn't surprised when our goals came. But Adotey, what took u so long to wake the girls up?? Hold your heads high, maidens! In light of all your challenges, this win is very, very exceptional!!

  I saw the middle portion of the game including the equalizing goal. What I can say is these ladies showed real mental toughness. I thought that they would not be able to come back. If they had better financial support they have the potential to even be better. They can dribble, pass and are fast. The weakness is that I can tell that the nutrition and strength training is lacking a bit. I was impressed by the overall focus of the ladies.
