  Any Soccer Player who suffers too much frequency of own goals is most likely trying too hard to impress. It often happens to Defenders, by the way. But fans don't see it that way. They see it as an indication of incompetence.
  
  Most of the time, a goal that ensues from a failed tackle by a Defender is more readily forgotten by the fans and Team than an own goal resulting from trying too hard to defend.
  
  When own goals happen more than once in a season by the same Player, he becomes a target for dumping on the Bench, and possibly, forcing out of the Team at the end of contract, or trading to some other Team.
  
  I hope Baba does not make any more of own goals.
