When it became clear that they could no longer remain there, Bayern Munich wanted to procure his services but according to Tony Yeboah, Frankfurt gave him additional money just to avoid Bayern.He moved to England instead and his career blossomed. The case of Opoku Afriyie who left Kotoko for Hearts is different. It was at the twilight of his career, felt Kotoko did not need him anymore so had to leave. As it is now,I don't think Ronaldo will leave Madrid for Barcelona even if he is promised thrice the salary he is receiving now.So is Messi.
