Last nite I watched a hbo documentary on hbo about corruption in fifa. So inbegun to connection to the dots. Nyantakyi is a fool. He brought in avram Grant thinking grant a jew could be used as a shield to cover nyantakyi from fifa investigation. And dats why nyantakyi is reluctant to fire or talk to grant. But grant has used this opportunity to play counter attack. He has purposely destroyed Ghana's chances of going to russia and he mow has proof of nyantakyi and gfa corrupt machinations amd how he nyantakyi siphoned monies meant to develope the sport in ghana to his personal bank accounts. Ghana will not go to wcup bcos nyantakyi wants to prevent any further wcup corruption attached to his soiled reputation. Grant knows this and is daring nyantakyi to.fire him. I respect Tornado a lot but he must also understand that no team wins every game consistently. The Abedi era had one of the strongest teams in Africa, yet they were equally matched with other countries. Even with that, Ghana did not win anything looking at the available players at that time. The aftermath of the Abedi/Yeboah era witnessed the slump in the fortunes of Ghana soccer and that slump took a long time to assemble another crop of players. That was the emergence of Stephen Appiah as the captain of that pack that included, Muntari, Gyan, Derek, Laryea, Amoah and Mensah. These group as they palyed for top clubs and in top leagues, were formidable such that the Black Stars became very attractive and that took the world by storm in Germany and South Africa. These squad had a common bond outside the playing field and it manifested also during games. Even though hey did not win anything just as the Abedi era, they were much more attractive than the Abedi's and played real soccer. Just like a business cycle, our peak time has elapsed, post Appiah era once again and the fortunes of the Black Stars will take a recces for another considerable period when it will recover and then peak again. So this is the time that Ghana will miss Russia 2018 and also will not go past the group stage of the AFCON 2017 which will take the fortunes of the team to a depressive stage. This happened to South Africa, Nigeria, Ivory Coast, Spain, Brazil, Holland, England and Ghana is no exception. Until such time that we will have players playing for top clubs in the top leagues, Ghana should forget winning any trophy. Our current players are all second rated and mediocre, lack confidence and do not have much playing time in their respective leagues just as we was the case among the Appiah led team. The truth hurts.

Assifuah and Tetteh wouldn't have changed the scale. We lost 1-2 with our star studded team the last time we played in Cairo. Let's uphold the truth, the Pharaoh's are better than us at this time. Period.
