  Solomon seems to think that the Black Stars have a right of passage to the semis. Wrong. He could probably say that about the Elephants because as he rightly mentioned, they have not lost a game since they won the trophy two years ago. That tells you all you need to know about the shape they are in. In addition, Winfred Saha is going to add a different dimension to their team. They are going to be immense.On the contrary, the Stars have not done too well since the last tournament. We are not in top notch shape. It is a real worry. I did seriously think of going to Gabon but decided against it as I do not feel too confident about our chances right now. Let's hope my pessimism is misplaced and get to the semis as Solomon is predicting. We should however not take anything for granted at all. We need to hit the ground running from the onset and pray that we get far in the tourney.
