I agree with the findings of Akwasi Appiah. Ghanaians, most of the time lack the (3s) ingredient in soccer, namely:
1. Speed
2. Skill
3. Strength
A combination of these three makes one a genius soccerian.

I agree with the findings of Akwasi Appiah. Ghanaians, most of the time lack the (3s) ingredient in soccer, namely:
1. Speed
2. Skill
3. Strength
A combination of these three makes one a genius soccerian.
In time past, people like Opoku Afriyie who had speed and strength lacked the art of soccer skills. He was all-right but his fame was limited to Ghana.
2. Osei Kofi, the wizard dribbler had skill and speed but not much strength. He did well with his dribbling antics. He proved himself to Ghana and Africa but never fit in on the world stage.
3. People like Abedi Pele, Essien, Gyan, among others, will always be remembered in Ghana's bright and international stars.
Our training focus should be on developing players to acquire the three (3s) qualities.
