What I always want is a W not about how once we get a W that is what matters most the days of entertaining soccer is history what I saw in this game especially in the second half was that they were all playing with a single purpose to get a W look at Atsu he was goal hungry,Dede goal hungry,Jordan goal hungry and our defence was great they played as a team at the back Amartey,Partey,Afful,Acheampong etc were all purposeful don"t get me wrong these they all played fearless because they all have international exposure they have played virtually against or with all the big names on the globe bravo to all the guys just stay focused and don't let the critics detract you but rather use that to even do better because there is always room to do better please when you get a goal celebrate it but do not let it get through your heads to loose focus because the game is never over until the last whistle because just scoring a goal does not make you a winner you can only be declared a winner after the last whistle because even a second can turn the whole results around.I still believe these guys will bring the cup no doubt.

I see his partnership with hardworking Assifua to be good for Ghana in future. We can still qualify for Russia 2018 if we win all our remaining matches and beat Egypt 3-0 in Kumasi. Yes Kumasi not Accra or Tamale because they will be haunted by the 6-1 scoreline. Egypt consist of players based in Africa and cannot beat us in Ghana. It looks as if the technical team have decided for the Stars to reverse what transpired in our first two games. There we played offensive football in the first half, get a goal and then retreat and play defensive football in the second half. Today, they played at a slow tempo and a bit deep in the first half which allowed Congo to play more in our half of the pitch and threatened a bit. In the second half, we played higher up the pitch, quickened the tempo and then got the goals. No sign of fatigue today. We paced ourselves better today hence had a lot in reserve in the second half. Good game management. Nice one by Avam Grant. It worked, we won, that's all that matters. Next is Cameroon. Almost there, two to go. Well done guys.

It looks as though the DRC goal should not have stood. The ref blow for the foul, not to restart the game. The free kick was taken quickly, "did you hear the bell"? Because I am sure I didn't!!
