  I'm still surprised the way the Black Stars are performing at the AFCON in Gabon.The simple reason is that we have many players in the Black Stars who have played in several World Cup.Asamoah Gyan played in 2006,2010 and 2014.Andre Ayew played in 2010 and 2014 World Cup and his younger brother played in 2014.Apart from that you have John Boye,Afful,Johnathan Mensah and others still in the team.
  The Assistant coach Maxwell Konadu have all been with the Black Stars for a very long time including the GFA boss,Kwesi Nyatakye.
  There's no doubt that the quality of our players is okay so I don't expect them to play below average.
  I think we have refused to address certain "technical and psychological problem" facing the Stars.For many years now Ghana has not been able to produce any world class striker apart from Asamoah Gyan who is playing in a less attractive league somewhere in Suadi Arabia.The Black Stars shouldn't have conceded 3 freekick goals if we have the caliber of strong defenders and midfielders.
  If you look at the FIFA ranking,you will see how the Stars are sinking with all our experienced players.It's not my job to identify the problems facing the Black Stars,that's up to GFA.I'll suggest that GFA creates "Operation save the Stars" which will collect important technical and administrative informations from former Black Star players and coaches to shape the future of the Black Stars.We can start that now.Don't worry be happy.

WHY WERE WE HAPPY WHEN WE BEAT CONGO, MALI, UGANDA? THE OTHER TEAMS ALSO WERE THERE TO WIN THE TROPHY - BURKINA FASO, ALGERIA, GABON AND ALL NEEDED THE TROPHY. GHANA NOT WINNING IT MEANS WE ARE NOT THE BONAFIDE OWNERS OF THE ROPHY.
  GHANA FOOTBALL NEEDS TO BE OVERHAULED FROM COLTS TO NATIONAL, AND I THINK THE MODEL USED BY LATE OHENE DJAN IN THE 60S SHOULD BE COPIED. IN THOSE DAYS, WE USED TO HAVE COLTS, ACADEMICALS THEN NATIONAL TEAM B BEFORE THE BLACK STARS, AND IT WAS AWESOME. SUCH A MODEL WOULD DO AWAY WITH THE FOREIGN AND LOCAL PLAYER TRADITION THAT IS NOW BEING TOUTED. THOS ATTACKING COACH GRANT SHOULD BE PREPARED TO BRING ON ONE OF THE WORLD'S TOP COACHES SO THAT GHANA COULD WIN THE WORLD CUP.
