Look at the second goal, a smart and alert goalkeeper could have closed in to make it difficult for the Cameroonian player to have pushed forward and score.
Razak Braimah is not good.
Goalkeepers like Fatau Dauda and Agyei should have been retained and given regular play for them to gain the experience and confidence needed. I still believe Fataw Dauda is still the best in Ghana at the moment

Some of the footballers we have may have some skills but they lack the mental aptitude to make decisions on the spur of the moment. Besides the mental incapacitation they're not physically competitive, have no stamina and lack speed. We need to start all over again to build a winning team. Just observe what the winning teams are doing at the international level and we'll realize we're just a bunch of stone age pretenders. The skills, we have them but so do most people everywhere who kick the leather ball. However, we're lacking in the areas of physical strength, speed, stamina and the mental aptitude to make decisions on the spur of the moment. Something gotta be done real quick and systematically with mathematical precision. On the average, we're not a very tall people so what we lack in height we have to make up by doubling down on the other areas I have just mentioned above.

It is only those who are blinded by ignorance and hatred who do not see that our central defensive pair of Boys and Amartey could easily be adjudged as one of the best, if not the best in the Afcon tournament. In fact John Boye, in spite of anything that happened, is one of our best performers at the tournament. Together with Amartey, they are our best defenders today. Let those making the noise point to any other defender who can play that well, exert that much energy and give hold back nothing as John Boye did. Shame on those whose daily activities are just to criticize without any fair consideration and sympathy for others.

That was a typical miscommunication as well as defensive blunder between him Boye and the goalkeeper Brimah. Both inexperience and lack of spiritual will as no defender in those years as far back as the 1970,s and 80,would have done what he did. Most tougher defenders i have played against will clear the ball from danger zone in an instinct. Hesse odamtten, opele Aboagye, joe kpalokpa,all these defenders will clear the ball first but this is football in todays generation. Ghana had some glorious chances which should have found the net but both chances was shot wide. If taken those chances it would have changed the game completely but in the end it backfired against Ghana. There wasnt much deeper commitment in that game by some of the players and was wobbling all over the place. I saw that mistake and was very disappointed by Boye but not to the point of blaming him for his decosion. A goal keeper,s timing of the ball is essential at certain point and also lack of proper briefing by coaches these days are a complete led down. Coaches should brief the players as to what to expect at any given time on the field itself. Generation of football today lacks so many qualities and techniques and that is exactly what we see all the time am afraid. I personaly missed Suley Muntari and Kevin Prince Boateng to fill our midfield.
