  You are not understanding what he s saying. Because of the law salaries any player with ability is leaving for greener pastures elsewhere. There are no good players in the local league and the good ones don't last. That is w ...

If they think they have better ideas on how to build Ghana football then they should present it to the people during the elections.We are not just going to push away the democratically elected leader in favor of some coward on the sideline.

  Government can force GFA to set up a minimum salary requirement for players. Regulations and enforcement lack thereof is one reason for poor PL in Ghana

  The real reason why the Ghana Premier League cannot pay its players well is because ghanaians don't go to the stadiums to support their local teams. The only club whose fans actually support them financially by paying to go to the stadium to watch their matches is Kotoko. The accountants who audited the accounts of the football league found that every football team in the premier league gets 60% of their revenue from the home and away matches they play with Kotoko. For example, if Kotoko plays with a premiership club today, 30,000 Kotoko fans will troop to that particular stadium to watch the match while only 1,000 of the other club's supporters will go the stadium. The next week, if another club is playing the same club, only about 1,500 fans in total from the 2 clubs will pay to go and watch them. Having the supporters of only one club financially supporting the league is not sustainable. What if the Kotoko supporters decide not to go to the stadium anymore? The league will collapse financially. More should be done by the other clubs and the GFA to encourage fans of the other clubs to go the stadium regularly.
  If all the teams could attract e.g. 20,000 fans to every match, the clubs will generate large revenues to pay decent salaries to their players.
  It is not the government's responsibility to pay the salaries of footballers playing for private football clubs.

  Avram grant u have spoken well n I believe that is more so why the black stars should rather by policy be built around the local players, (abt 80%) n coaches so as to provide the needed motivation n incentive to grow the national league. Because there can't be any such incentive for corporate Ghana to sponsor the league n players if the current trend where as soon as as a star emerges from the local scene he is uprooted like cassava n sold outside to foreign teams n as long as the FA also persist in same reckless n mindless manner building the black stars with an all foreign based players, because of kwasi nyantakyi's " Niko fio ni abaaye, chobo". ....
  by adopting the local based policy for our players n coaches it automatically whips up interest n excitement in the local league, retains more good players at home n so attract attendance at matches n more importantly provide the needed incentive for corporate Ghana to bring enough cash to sponsor our clubs. these would eventually impact positively on the remuneration of packages for players.....but under the present arrangements its a no no no no no....particularly under kwasi nyantakyi's (kleptosocccracy....( stealing players by consent of our overseas players so as to select them for the black stars...under thia present situation we should never ever dream of wining the cup in the near future...in fact it is a serious affront to image of local players n coaches who in actual fact gave us the four previous cups we so desperately n shamelessly clutch on for glory......Govt should sit up n help addressed the issue once n for all...

  Ghana Govt can require at least the cash deposit and a minimum wage.

It had to do with repackaging to gain fans interest. Legitimate kits and player profiles on television, as well as securing stations that showed almost all the games of the season,this was what led to the success.The happened in South Africa. We can learn the media skills and the marketing skills from those who know it best.
