Latif Blessing was an unused substitute in Kansas City’s MLS opener against DC United.
The former Ghana Premier League MVP and top scorer had impressed in the off season and looked like he will be give some game time.
But head coach Peter Vermes did not make any substitution as his men earned a point at the Robert F. Kennedy Memorial Stadium.
Blessings’ compatriot Lloyd Sam and Patrick Nyarko (all Ghana internationals) were named in DC United’s starting line-up.
