132 applicants? Most of these coaches are aware that coaching an African National Team is the cheapest way of getting money as after two years the African will drive you out.Take a Ghanaian coach.

Obviously they c it as easy $$money.
Given our crop of players, whoever they choose will have little effect on the end result. So you might as well choose a local.

Brazilian Roberto Carlos interested in coaching our Black Stars? I have never forgotten a derogatory comment he made about the Black Stars when Brazil and Ghana were going to meet in one of the World Cup matches. It was something "Ghana, what is Ghana?' An arrogant way of saying the Ghana team was too insignificant, and that it would not be a match at all for Brazil. I felt very offended by his comment. Ghana did fairly well in that World Cup tournament. Now, he is among the candidates interested in coaching our team? I understand why a Black Brazilian would be interested in an African team, but I hope he has repented for his insulting comments!
