Appiah could get all the support there is from the general public, but if he is technically bankrupt, unable to control/manage the players, he is bound to fail.

He must face the fact that he lacks enough of those qualities and hence hire competent people to help him. Konadu must go. Bring in someone with knowledge of the game and with international experience. Try and get Tanko, Capito Appiah, Dessailly to help him with the player management side and to scout, recruit and develop players for the team.

Anyone who loves the truth and will always say it will agree that Kwesi Appiah messed up big time in his first coming. So why on earth would anyone go back and appoint a coach like that if political and/or tribal sentiment is not involved? Would Manchester United ever think of going back for a coach like David Moyes, or would Manchester City ever go back for Mark Hughes? When Mourinho came back to Chelsea, many football pundits here in the UK were against the idea, and we all saw what happened, and this is the guy who was hugely successful (didn't mess up in anyway) in his first spell at Chelsea. In football if you are a big team, which the Black Stars being the national team, is, you always look for the best if you want to do the right thing and do well. You don't re-employ people who already messed you up in the past.
