A similar scenario will only be avoided if the GFA keeps its collective hands off and allows the coach to do his job.

I have this Akwesi Appiah since his days as a player Kotoko and the Black Stars and as an assistant coach under several coaches for the Black Stars and as a full coach for the Black Stars and I can conclude that he has earned my respect as a cool and collected guy very respectful,keeps his cool under every provocation,very honest,disciplined,wants results and not easy to be swayed even if that will cost his job.If he succeeds he opens up Avenues for future local coaches.God bless Ghana.My word for him is for him to be himself as usual and just as he knows every Ghanaian is a coach when a foreign coach looses a game they don't talk toooo much but when a local lose one the talkers will talk because they're all coaches.
