  When anybody wants to chop the money of Ghanaians, they introduce a competition via voting. This is very foolish especially in the current case where nominees are made of players of the current generation and old. For most older generation players, the expected voters of today who are the youth and mobile phone fanatics, greater of whom will vote did not see them. We have only heard about them. How can the voting be thus vote. Common sense will be to use a panel of experts who saw all players throughout their playing days. There are many coaches and sports administrators around to help with this.

Most young journalist who were not previledged to see players like James Adjei, Amadu Akuse, Kwame Adarkwa, Asebi Boakye, Ofei Dodu, Mohammed Salisu, Oliver Acqua, Aggrey Fynn, Kojo Mfum, Dogo Moro, Kuku Dadzi, Baba Yara,:Osei Kofi, Willie Evans, Addo Odametey and excluding goalkeepers like Robert Mensah, Dodu Ankrah, Naawu, Supey, etc.
