  You don't give a directive to a coach that he should win a cup. Are other coaches sleeping? They also want to win. What you do is to encourage the coach to perform as well as he can; and if he wins a cup, so be it.

  Are the gfa staff given such orders. Gh. has a communism problem. We don't have developmental institutions yet we tend to demand success. You impose Steven appiah on him.

  Wait a moment, I'm confused here; is Ghana the host nation for the next AFCON and or if not, has Ghana qualified yet as to demand the mandate from the GFA to Akwesi Appiah.? Why put the cart before the horse. Our expectations ...

  Wait a moment, I'm confused here; is Ghana the host nation for the next AFCON and or if not, has Ghana qualified yet as to demand the mandate from the GFA to Akwesi Appiah.? Why put the cart before the horse. Our expectations don't ever match our ability ever as we do for all competitions we engage in. We have always been decieved by our South African World cup quarter final exploit and our now stale 4 times African champions, both records have either been achieved before us or others like Egypt and Cameroon have caught up and overtaken us eventhough, we won the 4 trophies when both Cameroon and Nigeria hadn't taken it before. I can assure the GFA the next AFCON is never going to be different from the past because our materials are all average performers or bench warmers even in their smaller clubs in Europe and elsewhere. We should stop the self deciet and be realistic with ourselves. PERIOD.
