I applaud Coach Appiah's effort to rebuild the next Blackstar team.I just don't see the point in the inclusion of Waris and Jordan.We all know the capabilities of Waris,the problem with him is his inconsistency.We need a reliable player with a consistency and he is not.The problem with Jordan is slightly different.We can all see that Jordan is trying very hard and has improved very much in the last few years.The problem is that I think he has peaked,that is he has peaked for his current position and that is not good enough for us.We need a Striker who can do average more than 1 goal in 7 matches.I think he should be used for a different position because he is hard working and physically blessed for football.I will switch him to midfield and push his brother forward and see what the result looks like.

Atsu is Ghana's best and most creative player atm. Most of our mid-fielders are rather industrious, not creative. Schlupp should be playing. He gives us width and he is a good outlet from the back.

In any case, I will like to give the coach the benefit of the doubt, as it may well be that the players asked to be excused for these matches. However, Kwesi Appiah must not fall to the so-called support he is getting from some Ghanaians as these same people will call for his head if he fails. The Black Stars should not be used as a place for trials and experiments, not even in friendly matches as this will affect our rating, and consequently any favourable draws for us in competitions. Any experiment must come in the Local Black Stars and the other junior teams. Wholesale mass infusion of untested players at the Black Stars level is never done by any good and serious football nstion: it can only be a recipe for disaster. Kwesi must seriously grow up to know the system, and must watch out for the dangers that can see his failure and consequently being vilified by Ghanaians. A word to the wise is enough!!!
