This display of such high levels of stupidity by our people shows how the minds of our people are being controlled by western influence. This is why Africa is still not making any serious gains in development. Majority of our people are suffering from mental slavery, everything they love and live for is what their so called gods from the west offers. We cannot even use our brains to think and do anything. With all the problems we are facing as a people, how can some of our people be thinking of this. God is not interested about people winning cups when wickedness, immorality, corruption is reigning in our societies. This is pure madness. Last time it was Chelsea fans going for a thanksgiving service, today it's United fans... Body in Africa, mind, heart and soul in the west. No wonder we are still suffering. I read that Chelsea supporters in Ghana also organized something similar. Are we really serious in this country? I am not saying someone should not pray for another but do we have to sow everywhere just because we have land?
How beneficial will that all-night prayers be for Man Utd as a team, and the supporters in Ghana? How sure are those supporters that God will listen to their praises and prayers?
I watched a movie acted in South Africa entitled "SARAFINA" and the brutalities meted out to the Blacks by the whites would make someone hate the whites forever. Let us pray for the whites to repent and accept Jesus rather than organizing an all night prayer service to thank God for the victory of a white man's football club.
