  Day in day out, we experience new creation in our realm in football and other sporting activities. Not too long ago people were crying for the lost beauty of Ghana football. Gone were the days when Ghana could boost of great goalkeepers like the late Robert Mensah, the late Kwao Baffoe, Sam Ampeh ,Anthony Osei Kwadwo, Joe Carr etc,who in their days were great keepers of Asante Kotoko. In fact, those were the days Asante Kotoko was the real porcupine warriors. Hardly could any team beat Asante Kotoko because of this great goalkeepers of Kotoko in the past. Although Kotoko has goalkeepers who could take and mind the post for Kotoko like Ernest Sowah,Felix Annan and Isaac Amoako today .These chaps I hope can take us to places,but we should continue to keep keen eyes on the current starlet keeper, Ibrahim Danlade. We should not rush him but allow him to develop into a great goalkeeper. He could become one of the great of the yesteryear s . He needs patience to develop and so we must accord him such. God bless this young chap.
