  Memorable ones? His equaliser against Uganda In Kampala after coming on as a sub in a WC Qualifier in 2005. Winning goal against the US in South Africa 2010 and the last gasp goal against Algeria in Afcon 2015. We must start now to find his replacement. We thank you Baby Jet.

  Asamoah Gyan himself has confessed that the penalty kick he missed in South Africa will haunt him for the rest of his life. There were 8 African countries at that tournament. By the time Ghana was playing at the quarter finals, seven African countries had been eliminated; Ghana was the only African country left in the tournament being hosted for the first time in African continent. The whole continent and most Caribbean countries were routing for Ghana. That loss dashed the hopes of many soccer aficionados worldwide who thought that finally, the world cup will find a deserving home in Africa. That pain is still fresh!
