  This attitude is pure hipocrisy and it won't lead us anywhere.we would have won the AFCON 2017 had it not been this. Why did GFA and the Black Stars collected huge sums of dollars from the previous administration but decided to cut it during NPP regime? God is looking at us. Are we saying we ( NPP ) are Saints? The players and the management should apologize else we would reach the finals of every tournament that we will participate but won't lift the cup.

  This is One of the Dzamefe Commission recommendations. Am happy the Ministry is implemented at least that. If Ghana wants to improve its football they should use that report as it's guide. Thanks.

  All those commenting on this should bow their heads in shame and give us a break. Your politics of selective praise and support will not help this country. Were we all not in this country when Nii Lantey Vanderpuye announced that due to the country's dire economic situation, the bonus of the Black Stars was going to be reduced to 5,000 dollars? What happened then? You these same politically-minded hypocrites were on air supporting the politically-biased Nyantekyi GFA to resist it. Even the players, led by Asamoah Gyan were instigated to come out and speak against the minister's move. Why are Asamoah Gyan and the rest not complaining today? It is not about negotiations or any other strategy, but purely ethnocentric and political consideration. While I applaud the reduction, which I even expected to have been pegged at 3,000 dollars, I shudder to say that the politicization of everything in this country will destroy us. The NPP, its surrogates and supporters must change this divisive and underhand Communist Inferior Tactics if we are to work together and progress as a country.

  I wonder why such bonuses can't be determined to cover the overall qualifying matches. If say 20000 dollars is allotted to each player, about 25% of such money can be given him to take care of the basic expenses through the qualification process.
  The remaining 75% should be given only when they do qualify. At the world cup level, similar amount and procedure can be used.
  
  Our players go away with our money even when they don't perform. Besides, we at the same time provide a platform for them to showcase their talent. Some subsequently turn back as arrogant and disrespectful towards the same people who lifted them from the slums.
  I don't think we are in the same financial position as England who pays £2500 for winning, £1500 for draw and £500 for loss.
