If you wanted to stay in Sweden and that's why you married her, then you should've outsmarted her rather than pissing her off. You must be foolish to think your family can pay your way out. We hope that you didn't commit the crime and wish you the best in your appeal.

  Appealing to the courts is a step in the right direction. Bonsu and his family are naive to think that the president is in a position to help exonerate him after being convicted by a Swedish court for rape. Unlike Ghana, developed countries take rape cases seriously and are apt to mete out severe punishment for those charged. He is fortunate he only got two years in jail.

  Am living in Sweden and their laws really protect their women and children. Kwame Bonsu, Sweden is not like Ghana when you commit an offence then your parents will go and see the highest authority to intervene or bribe the police and the judges to make it "foolish case" as we call it in Ghana. Don't waste your money on appeals it won't work. I really feel sorry for you.

  It's pretty simple. African men beat their wives. Whites do not. If they do, they go to jail. Kwame does not live in Ghana anymore. He cannot hit his wife without repercussions.
