I applaud using our own to coach but there are some silly comments I hate to hear from the coach. Just look at the way Mexicans played with running and opening spaces whilst our players sit and watch .

More so, our tikitaka style of play is outmoded and must be revised. Our players lack common sense in the opponent box. When they get there, they just shoot at goal like colts. Did you see how just two players in the Mexico team causes havoc to our defense. That's how you score goals and Akwasi Appiah must learn to pass the balls in the opponent penalty box and just tap to score. Those shot at goal is no more attractive. Acheampong chance should never had been missed but lack of concentration killed the chance.
Next time blinded fold players and have them practice shooting at the goal just to build on their imagination.
No such excuses as luck eluded us. Had you worked the boys to plan and had they practice it several times, they could have sharpen their skills and scored more goals.
Have your strikers learn to play like Barcelona. Run, create space and pass for a clear person to score.

Yes you can try your tactics but you must have a winning mentality. I am sure if Gyan had played 10 min or more the results would have been different. We played Mexico team C and still lost.

Coach Appiah should not use the 4-2-3-1 formation against any experienced opponents. The conservative 4-4-2 formation should be used against the U S. Coach Appiah needs to teach the boys not to give reasons to any referee to award penalties when the going is tough. I said it before. Coach Appiah needs to learn from how the German National team or FC Barcelona creatively creates scoring chances effortlessly from the midfield to the goal. You can't predict what they intend to do but they will surprise you with the ball in the net. It is beautiful for the Black Stars to pass the ball in the midfield but they have to be hungry for goals.
The key is trying as many scoring chances that they know or get. During practice sessions within 5 minutes or less, they should score a goal. Let the players come up with their own new scoring strategies and discuss them before practice sessions. Learn about the Triangle strategy, The Rectangular strategy, the cyclone strategy, the Argentinian strategy, whereby the overlapping player takes the ball to the goal line and quickly passes it to the waiting scorer on top of the 18 or in the 18. We were beaten by the US during the last World Cup so we need to show them that we have the better team. Good Luck! Coach Appiah.

First of all, there are some players who don't have the quality needed to play for the Black Stars. Warris and Sumaila are two of such players. It's better to replace such players, with even inexperience but talented players. The other problem is that most of the players are only kicking and running. It is obvious they are motivated to perform but they aren't thinking about what they're doing. The coach should make them use their brains a little more.

It will be sad for Dwamena to score a goal from a good pass from one of the good players just when he's right infront of the goalie and we ll be praising him as a good player... when we all know he's just waiting for an opportunity, hence; opportunity comes but once. Pls use someone reliable like Warris to replace him. I know people seems to think Warris didn't do anything in the Ghana vs Mexico game, but let's ask ourselves how many passes did he receive from the players compared to Dwamena. We don't need someone who is only waiting for an opportunity but doesn't seems to create one for himself.

Why will have to let Gyan play only during the end of the game . That was a poor decision on your part . If Gyan had even played for 30 minutes , Ghana could have at least equalized or even won the match . However if Gyan cannot play for half an hour , then he should relinquished the captainship to a more energetic person
