Why couldn't couldn't he do same if he was resuming to take penalties before the trip to MEXICO and the USA?

Why? Does he own the national team now? If he doesn't steal a goal from Dwamena.....it will be about his head on the NATIONAL TEAM'S captain armband.......and now the issue with penalty taking???????

What kind of a person is this? He is selfish, arrogant, greedy and self-seeking at all levels and some stupid GHANAIANS have bought into it.........because they can align themselves with such attributes.

He comes to tell GHANAIANS that Totti did so at Roma, Zanetti did so at Inter Milan etc.......customized their captain's armbands so, he is also allowed to do so????.......Are those teams the national teams of those individuals???? Why didn't any sensible being ask him that at the press conference????

So, when it comes to selfishness and greed not all humans have them and if they do, it does not make it human to deprive those you represent the joy and benefits they deserve from your talents.

I hope you get it!!!! That is why there laws, rules and regulations in whatever team or association we find ourselves in. And if you get out of line.......YOU SHOULD BE PUNISHED.....and not to be overlooked.

How do you think the people we spend our whole lives APING their lifestyles got to where they are? They do not tolerate such NONSENSE in their 'human' societies hence, their increasing development for the better!

You did mentioned of "selfishness and greed" but can you tell which player in the national team who is playing ONLY for the nation but not his glory as well? Every player wanted to give their 100+!% for the team. Every player wanted to keep their position in the team and eager to do more for the nation and their glory as well. So why should we prosecute, judge and punish any bold individual who was EAGER to score more goals for the nation and his image. Gyan's duty is to score goals in the team, so if something goes wrong in the precess, why should we blame him, for what?

Whatever you may term it, whether it was selfishness, greed, his personal interest you name it. His main MOTIVE was to score for Ghana Black Star team and Ghanaians. Why certain individual's could asked for certain jersey number, was that the interest of the nation, which kind of laws, rules and regulations permits that?

Gyan's duty in the team was/is PURPOSELY to score goals!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So during that precess and something goes wrong, we should kindly exercise patient and understand it.
Even as at now, there is NO even carbon copy striker of him in the team.

If he scores and win us a match, we celebrate together and if he messed up, we should also mourn together instead of hyping the blame on him alone.

In Ghana i have noticed that some of our best kickers shy away from penalties.Eg Kwadwo Asamoah; which i know is because of the way we have ill treated those who miss without complacency.This will only result in situations where those who step up to take penalty in crucial games are not the best takers. This has happened in black stars before as I recall in a CAF tournament. I strongly believe the best kickers are free kick, corner kick experts and play makers . This not to say others cannot be good. For me personally i think considering the the skill level with which Asamoah Gyan approaches penalty. He is the the best taker in the team when his confidence is on.He should pray and change his pledge to his mother and take more penalties. He has shone brighter than any other player in Ghana's history. He has put us on the map.He is known every where in the world and has made money to back it.Lets be proud of him.People like that don't come around often. These day's in boxing all we have is good memories of Azumah Nelson and ike Quartey.All that hate won't make black stars any better.
