If he is smart enough to know (or listen to advise to acquire the lands), in spite of other investment opportunities, don't you think he probably knows how to increase his investment value? I think you are wrong to just jump to conclusions, and even more wrong to insult him.
Regarding Braa Laryea in particular, I know he has diverse investments. Ask anyone who has been observing him, and you will know that he has several other investments. A common one is several (ie dozens) "trotros" in Accra alone at some point in time. Besides, land is one of the most lucrative investments in Ghana as it's always appreciating. Observe him closely if you are interested, and you will see that he is very comfortable due to his wise investments.
In any case, he is giving valuable lesson to footballers and workers in general. In some years, you will hear some footballers soliciting for funds for some healthcare intervention or other; Braa Laryea will probably not do that....

If yes then u won't be here running ur mouths about things u have no knowledge.
I bought ten plots of land in 2006 at devtraco area in dahwenya rd for 25million a plot then and the land is going for 700million a plot now and up so I guess this is also a bad investment.
