  It is not to suit European teams but rather African players in Europe, who happen to form a large percentage of the national teams. Already some teams have made it a policy not to sign more than a certain number of African players because of the AFCON. This is a good decision which will favour African football. Stop the conspiracy theories and be objective.

  I agree that we should not have 24 teams. The infrastructure is not there.

  I agree that we should not have 24 teams. The infrastructure is not there.
  
  However, the movement to the summer allows for proper promotion. Kids cannot get out of school in January and February. June and July dates will allow for families in the Western World to come with their children. That would be more interesting.
