Ghana midfielder Isaac Cofie has recovered from an illness which has kept him out of action for Italian side Genoa for two weeks.
The 26-year-old was reported by the club to have been hospitalized at San Martino hospital, due to an infection he contracted.
But reports coming out from the Stadio Luigi Ferraris indicate the former Chievo Verona midfielder is closing on a return to first team action after recovering from the illness.
Cofie was one of coach Ivan Juric trusted players until he contracted the infection, having made an explosive start to the campaign for the Rossoblu.
