Italian side Inter Milan have shown interest in Atletico Madrid sensation Thomas Teye Partey, according to latest transfer rumours.
The Ghana international has gained prominence this season following a run of impressive displays for the Rojiblancos.
In the wake of earlier reports by Gazzettadelo Sport, Spanish sports tabloid Fichajes says the 24-year-old has popped up on the wish-list of the Serie A giants, joining the likes of William Carvalho (Sporting Portugal), Cyprien (Nice), Yves Bissouma (Lille) and Manuel Fernandes (Lokomotiv Moscow).
Last year, the midfielder was linked to French giants Paris Saint-Germain.
Partey is seeking to make the most of his opportunities this season, after bit-part roles in the last two terms.
In unarguably his best campaign with Los Rojiblancos, the Ghanaian has made 28 appearances so far in all competitions this season, having started all but five matches.
He has notched four goals – two in La Liga and one each in the Champions League and Copa del Rey.
Following loan spells at Mallorca and Almeria, Partey was drafted into Simeone's set-up in 2015-16 where he made 13 league appearances involving three starts.
He improved his stats last term with 16 topflight outings, six of which he featured from the blast of the referee's whistle.
Partey’s season exploits transcend Atletico boundaries as he has netted five goals in his last four Ghana outings.
