After scoring a wonderful goal to help Eintratch Frankfurt clinch a vital 2-1 win over Red Bull Liepzig, Ghana international Kevin-Prince Boateng remains optimistic of a second straight victory as they come up against Stuttgart this weekend.
Frankfurt play guest to Stuttgart as they aim to surpass second placed Borussia Dortmund on the table.
A win against Stuttgart could possible see them move up to second behind runaway leaders Bayern Munich.
Boateng is anticipating a difficult hurdle this weekend.
“It’s going to be a really difficult game,” Boateng told his club’s official website.
“The change in coach has given the whole Stuttgart team a boost.
“VfB are playing good football at the moment, but we know what we’re capable of and want to pick up another three points.
“I’m confident we’ll do just that – we’re as well prepared as ever.”
“I definitely would’ve liked to be involved, but the team will manage fine without me.
“I trust the boys to return home with a good result.”
The midfielder is currently on five goals for Frankfurt in the Bundesliga.
