Black Stars midfielder, Albert Adomah was in action for Aston Villa on Tuesday evening as they defeated Sunderland 3:0 at the Stadium of Light.
The former Middlesbrough winger has been out of action due to injury.
Adomah assisted Luis Grabban to break the deadlock of the game in the 34th minute.
James Chester scored the second goal in the 43rd minute before Bryan Oviedo scored an own goal in the 66th.
The win has pushed Villa to the 3rd position with 66 points and will play Championship leaders, Wolverhampton on Saturday at the Villa Park on 17:30 GMT.
